Visual Vacation in Ireland

Lately one of my (second) cousins from America, Megan Lopes visited Ireland.  Since I've always wanted to go there (again) and meet my relatives and see the country, this really interested me!

I have quite a few cousins there who I want to visit, but somehow we were unable to make our trip over this year. But Megan had taken some awesome pictures I could keep myself satisfied with. So there I went on my lovely visual vacation.....

Antique Museum

Vintage Car

Little desks from 1921

Ruins of a monastery or church
Megan observed this driving though the countryside.

Original Thatched Cottage

Lough Rynn Castle

Gardens Lough Rynn

A yard
(awesome, isn't it?)

I don'r know where this is, but the weather seems great!

Bewleys Coffee

100 year old door

Eyre Square in Galway

Hannah, my second cousin, standing beside a peat bog
The turf (used for fuel in fires)

The river Liffey in Dublin

An Irish Leprechaun?

Fabulous pictures, aren't they? Now I really want to go there!

  34. Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog! Yours is beautiful! I've been to Ireland and it is indeed a country not to be missed - like many others of course, but it does have a certain charm that warms the heart...especially if you get to meet its people who are laid back, friendly and very welcoming.

  39. Hey you guys, it's only a small little country - there won't be enough room if you ALL come here at the same time! Only kidding, but I'm in Dublin and I am wishing I was in a faraway place - like Casablanca.. or Singapore...
