Making ends meet...

I haven't been around for a while now. I don't know how I kept away from my blog for so long. I don't really know whats going on. The days seem endless, but I'm not really making good use of my time.  But you know what? I'm fine!

I don't really know how, the atmosphere around me is really depressing... My best friend is always down and I'm busy trying to cheer her up all the time. I've not being studying as much as I should. Everything is going wrong. But I'm still hanging on.

By the way, has anyone (not) heard Rebecca Black's "Friday" Single?

It seems to have received a lot of criticism on youtube . I don't really see the point. She is the same age as me, and like typical teenagers, her dream is to be a pop star. Everyone has the right to share their opinion, but they totally shouldn't use their right to put her down like that. But then again... is she being cyber bullied?  Her video has around 82 million views on youtube and she has also managed to break into the iTunes Top 100 ! :O  And as far as I know, she is gonna follow friday with her second single LOL (no seriously, thats what its called!)

And at least she has a sense of humour, lol -

I think she is incredibly brave to stand up for herself and not let bullies put her down...  YOU GO GIRL!

I'm signing off now , ttyl!

  2. Hi MelRoxx thanks so much for the great comment on our old school computer shirt. So glad you like it.

As for Rebecca Black I agree with you that she is very brave and has a great sense of humor. Also the amount of hits she has got from that song has made her famous so regardless of whether it is a good song or not she has become a pop star.

  3. It was amazing how wild the press went over Rebecca's song even if it was mostly negative. I guess that really does prove that any publicity is good publicity =) We won't be forgetting her name for a while.

  6. You know.. i actually like the song, it's pretty catchy. hee voice was too sharp though, i had to mute the music halfway!
She looks like a Disney star, haha.
And those who are cyber bullying her are such idiots. Ganging up on a 13 year old is just cowardly.

I'm your new follower, btw! :D

  7. When your song is #8 on the top single's list that's all you need. Who cares what anyone says.

  12. I just find it so funny, the lyrics really don't make sense. As much as I feel sorry for her, it's kinda funny in a way :))

  13. I don't have anything against her, but was shocked at how the world went mad. I mean if you don't like the song, don't listen to it.
