I think I need to manage my time better so I have decided that since my tests are coming up, I'll take a little break from blogging ;) I did a short story which you might like to see. It can be read here

Tuesday Morning Writings - Their New House

Sarah & Tony gasped in amazement at the beautiful house that stood before them. They couldn’t believe that they had finally found their house after such a long search… Their first month in the house was blissful, but as time went on, strange incidents began to occur… “I remember I left my book here!” said Sarah to herself “Who has taken it away!” This was surprising since no one had been here. “It couldn’t be the office staff!” She said, irritated “They never come into the living space!” She walked into her bedroom. She was surprised to notice the night lamp was on & the book lay there in the same position she had left it in the living room. “That’s funny…” as she studied each page carefully. It wasn’t as if someone had even touched it…

It was a Saturday night when they were driving home from a party. Sarah & Tony were swapping stories of how they noticed small items going missing and turning up in different parts in the house. “This is a terrible nuisance!” Tony explained “I thought this was an ideal house for a modern family. Everything was perfect. Our office space is partitioned from our personal space, but some things happening make me doubt if this is the right place for us.” As the turned down the road the got the biggest shock of their lives! The lights were on and someone stood there on the balcony, and quickly ran away as soon as they saw them coming closer.

Sarah ran towards the car as soon as the car stopped. She made her way to the balcony to see that everything was normal.“I saw someone here! It must have been a supernatural being or something!” cried Sarah. “Really?” Tony uttered in disbelief. “I definitely think there is something wrong with this house!” Sarah continued. “Perhaps, it’s haunted! I think I’ll pay a visit to Mrs. Fisher next door & find out more about this place!”

The very next morning, Sarah paid a visit to Mrs. Fisher’s house. She must have been the friendliest neighbor in this area. She always had a smile on her face, and had a great sense of humor. It was surprising for her to see Sarah on the doorstep knowing how busy she must have been with her business. She welcomed her warmly. “Hello Mrs. Fisher!” Sarah greeted her neighbor. “How nice to see you here! How are you?” asked Mrs. Fisher . “ Well,” sighed Sarah “we are quite well, but a certain problem really has me in a bad state.” “Why?” queried Mrs. Fisher “Is it the house?” “I’m afraid so. Could you tell me something about the people who lived here before us?” Mrs. Fisher told Sarah that the house once belonged to an author. She had a son in the Navy, and a daughter in college . “Did her son ever come back?” questioned Sarah. “Of course he did! Mrs. Fisher went on. “When he returned, they left this house & moved into another one.” “And did she ever feel something wrong in the house?” inquired the focused lady. “No, never! We used to talk a lot, She just mentioned once that the windows were a bit awkward! Are they?”

“No… not that I noticed… A few of our things had been misplaced.” Sarah replied awkwardly. “Do you think your staff misplaced it?” “Are you joking?” laughed Sarah as if it was out of the question. “The office section is well apart from our living space. It couldn’t be, but anyway I think I’ll ask Holly about it!” The ladies quickly winded up the chat.

When Sarah returned to speak to Holly, she was astonished to see Holly standing right there, in the drawing room. “Listen I have something to tell you.” Sarah asked that what it was. “I have noticed you have a very bad habit of leaving the lights on when you leave the rooms. On Saturday night when you were gone out, I dropped in and turned it off.” “What?” exclaimed Sarah. “You even left the balcony door open!” Said Holly. “You should leave your things in the right place, I am sick of running after you fixing things up!” “I thought the staff was to stay away from my personal space” Sarah rolled her eyes. “Do you blame me?” said Holly taken aback. “Anyway, what did you want to ask me?” “I am so sorry about this” apologized Sarah. “I think I found the answer to my question….

Sarah & Tony are a working couple, Sarah is an interior designer while Tony is an Architect.

This is my first short story ever! :D *smile*

I'm a fool...

Now, on Friday I was sitting in the classroom, trying to pay attention to my teacher with NO success whatsoever! My best friend meanwhile, was talking to me about Class politics. It was okay until we came to discuss about the current stuff happening in our friend circle. I listened without agreeing (maybe from the inside, but I didn't mention a word) or disagreeing about anything. When she started talking about me, what I should HAVE done, how I mishandled a situation, I started getting irritated. I wanted to scream! MelRoXx found nothing better to do, than SLAP myself. SO hard that the The teacher stopped teaching. The class was silent.

"Who did that?" The teacher asked blankly. "Ma'am" I said "There was a mosquito on my head so I..." The girls burst into laughter at this ridiculous answer. I sat down quietly & smiled awkwardly at my friends. The stared at me since we sat so farther away from each other.

At the recess we talked about it... The teased me like mad. Is there anything I could say? I can't believe what I had done. Couldn't I find nothing better to do than slap myself in the middle of the class? I didn't need this to happen. They think I'm weird enough!

Now whenever I do something weird, the nod at each other seriously & say "Exorcism of MelRoXx"  ...

So now I've been snubbed to another Party... So at the end of the day, I'm just as sad as I started in the morning... :(

What kind of a problem is this?

Is there a Rule Book for friendship? Guidelines, conforming the  rights of a friend? (If so, Please let me know :P ) because I, most certainly need it!  Lately, since the school timings have changed, my whole schedule is in a mess!  Not just that, the class politics is really driving me mad! A few of my friends have been having misunderstandings lately. This is not supposed to be a problem for me, but I'm certainly concerned! I hate taking  sides, because no one is in the wrong. I don't know what to do, but I am taking references from the Bible, that does help!

I have been in the same position many times, but this is worse! How would you like to have the phone slammed down by your beloved friend, & when you call back, no one answers? Oh no, maybe not my fault, but isn't it right to at least listening to what I have to say? Not justification, but just try to explain the situation? Is anyone gonna listen to me? I can't concentrate on anything completely, & Oh My God, I don't want to go back to where I was before (referring to my studies) !

I hope this thing is sorted out, I cannot afford to lose my friends, after all, they are precious! I love all my online friends too!
